Willis College offers a variety of scholarships to its students. Each scholarship is offered based on different criteria and is awarded at different times. Willis College “Learning Together” Veteran and Family Scholarship

This exciting program allows retired or retiring members of the Canadian Armed Forces who are heading back to school with Willis College to have a family member attend Willis at the same time!

Early Childhood Education Bursary & Scholarships

Excellence in ECE Bursary Program

The Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development offers the Excellence in ECE Bursary Program, providing up to $5,000 for permanent residents of Nova Scotia enrolled full-time in an approved Early Childhood Education diploma program. The bursary is designed to help reduce financial barriers and support more students as they prepare to enter Nova Scotia’s growing early learning and child care sector.

Willis College High Skills Major Bursary

Willis College offers a $1,000 bursary to students who successfully complete the Early Childhood Education High Skills Major program in high school and enrol in our ECE diploma program. One eligible student from each participating high school may receive the bursary, which is applied directly to tuition.

Government of Canada

The Canada Student Financial Assistance Program offers grants and loans to full-time and part-time students to help pay for their post-secondary education. The Government of Canada works with most provincial or territorial governments to offer student grants and loans. In all situations, you apply with your province or territory of residence.
